Now this post isn’t going to be good advertising for the combination of poker & women. It happens rarely that you’re watching some poker on tv and that you’re really amazed by the plays pros make sometimes. Most of the times, like last time on the Ivey-play, it’s because of the astonishing good plays some players make. Sometimes it’s because of the astonishing bad plays some players make. Unfortunelately for all the women playing poker, it was Jennifer Tilly making such a play this time.

So it’s on the second season of Poker After Dark and Jennifer Tilly makes kinda standard plays pre-flop and on the flop with her pocket Jacks, which she improves to topset on the flop. Patrick Antonius hits middle pair and can improve to a straight. But when the King drops on the turn, she immediately shuts down and checks it down to the river, while she improves to a full house! This is of course a very odd and scary play by Miss Tilly, I think she’s been influenced by her boyfriend too much or something. But the best part of the movie is the scene after the showdown: players like Ivey, Lindgren and Harman are very confused by what just happened, priceless!
